2006 Carlisle Syrah Sonoma County

Popped and poured this tonight at West Side Gravy, and according to CellarTracker, this is the first Carlisle syrah that we have had in over 2 years!  WOW!  Has it really been this long?  Special thanks to our friends tom246 for sharing their Carlisle allocation with us before we got onto the list!

Formal notes to come, but this was absolutely delicious, with many years ahead of it!  Our others will rest in the cellar for a few more years before we revisit this tasty wine!  Stay tuned!  Cheers!
